Rumor has it that Apple will unveil
its new iPad to the public on March 7 in San
Francisco.
Xbox World magazine is
reporting that the new Xbox will have a tablet like controller
similar to the one Nintendo unveiled at last summers E3 for their HD
console the Wii U.
According to XWM the controller
will be "an HD screen surrounded by the traditional 360 buttons and
sticks." it goes on to say "That touchcreen will be second only to
Kinect in how you operate your console," it claims. "It could be a
remote control when you're watching TV, a browser when you're on the
internet, extra buttons and information when you're playing a game
or a portable display when you want to take your game with
you."
They also go on to say that the
new console will be "a matte-black media hub with a mission to bring
games to life in your living room with augmented reality,
directional sound, and a four-player, finger-tracking
Kinect.”
Rumor has it that Apple will
unveil its new iPad to the public on March 7 in San Francisco. Here

AVENGERS SUPER BOWL XLVI MOVIE TRAILERS
Over the
years the Super Bowl has been a huge platform for summer blockbuster
movie trailers but this year might have been the exception.
Although The 2nd trailers for both The Avengers and G.I Joe
Retaliation premiered during the super bowl, a lot of this years
summer blockbusters such as The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing
Spider-Man and The Hunger Games were noticeably missing as 20th
Century Fox, Sony Pictures and Warner Brother opted to sit on the
sidelines this Super Bowl Sunday.
Many Super Bowl XLVI viewers expected too see a
lot of movie trailers from this years summer blockbusters such as
The Amazing Spider-Man but to their surprise many were absent from
Super Bowl Sundays 4 million dollar 30 second commercial spots as
Many big budget film companies such as Sony Pictures which
distributes this summers Amazing Spider-man opted to sit this Super
Bowl out. In just days later Sony Pictures releases the new
Amazing Spider-man trailer without having to spend 4 million on a 30 second spot! check it
out!
With E3 merely a couple of months away rumors
have have been running ramped on the net about the next generation
xbox known to speculators as the "Xbox 720." Out of the latest batch
of rumors, gaming sites like IGN claim to have the inside scoop as far as specs are
concerned.
IGN claims from a reliable source that the Xbox
720 will be six times more powerful than the current model
Xbox.
Another gaming site, Kotaku is claiming
the 720 will run on Blu-Ray disc technology and introduce a Kinect

That's not the only news around the Xbox 720
rumor mill, this one a bit more disappointing if true that the 720
will some how restrict gamers from playing used games on the new
console as a way to put a halt on the used game market which has
proven to be quite profitable for places like Gamespot but less
profitable for publishers who don't get a dime off of resold
games.
APPLE
UNVEILS iBOOKS 2/INITIATIVE TO IMPROVE U.S
SCHOOLS
Apple unveiled
iBooks 2 in New York on Friday and plans on improving U.S education
system with digital textbooks and free textbook crafting software.
The California based company has also partnered with textbook
companies like McGraw-Hill, Pearson, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt
to offer lower prices on digital textbooks to U.S
schools.
iBooks 2 is
a free download from the App Store, available as an update to the
existing iBooks app.
Japanese gaming giant Capcom has officially
announced that they are currently in production of Resident Evil
6.
Resident Evil 6 has big shoes to fill as the
games predecessor Resident Evil 5 sold 5 million copies worldwide
and is the best selling in franchise history despite mixed
reviews.
Resident Evil 6 is scheduled to release on PS3
and Xbox 360 on November 20th 2012 and a PC version of the game to
be released at a later date. So far Wii U version of the game has
yet to be announced.

Underworld
Awakening topped the domestic box office this weekend at an
estimated $25,400,000. George Lucas' WW2 fighter pilot drama Red
Tail came in a strong 2nd with an estimated $19,100,000. while MMA
star Gina Carano's big screen debut Haywire comes in at a
disappointing 5th at this weekends box office with a meager
$9,000,000

The annual Consumer Electronics Show
went underway in Las Vagas from Jan 10 to Jan 13 and saw more than
31,000 companies showcased 20,000+ gadgets and technological
innovations,
Manufacturers and developers showed
several cutting-edge products, including smartphones, ultrabooks,
concept cars and home theater systems just to name a few.

U.S VIDEO GAME SALES DOWN 21%
IN THE MONTH OF DECEMBER
U.S video game hardware, software and
accessories dropped 21% in the month of December from the previous
year.
According to new data from market
research firm NPD, total sales for the month were $3.99 billion,
down from $5.07 billion the same month one year earlier. Video game
hardware was down 28%, while accessories were down 27% and software
was down 15% including PC game sales, or 14% without PCs.
